Ng Ee-Ling
Ee-Ling has more than 20 years of experience working in the Singapore Public Service as an organisational psychologist and leadership development consultant. During her tenure at the Civil Service College, she helped to form the Centre for Leadership Development, and last held the position of Director and Senior Principal Consultant in the Institute of Leadership and Organisation Development. She co-led the Leadership Development practice in the Institute and was particularly involved in providing consultancy and advisory on projects related to the design and implementation of talent identification, and leadership development strategies and interventions, at the whole-of-government level. In Jul 2019, she co-founded Intersect Pte Ltd, a boutique leadership development consultancy, to continue this work both within and outside the Singapore Public Service.
Ee-Ling has extensive experience in designing and facilitating highly bespoke leadership development programmes and interventions, and providing leadership feedback and coaching to leaders at all various levels, from high-potential emerging leaders, first-line managers and middle-managers, to those holding functional leadership or apex-level leadership positions. As a leadership coach and facilitator, Ee-Ling emphasises dialogic processes that promote deeper personal, interpersonal and contextual insight and understanding, and her style is challenging yet supportive. She has a strong interest in helping individuals and teams focus their developmental efforts in a way that translates into sustainable and meaningful change and is inspired by the vision of purpose-driven organisations where the human spirit can flourish. Her current professional interest lies in the area of leadership resilience and agility in a world of complexity and relentless change.
Ee-Ling has a degree in Industrial/Organisational Psychology from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, and obtained her MA (Psychometrics) degree from the University of British Columbia, Canada. She is a certified coach with the Henley Business School (UK), and has attained professional qualification and certification in the use and interpretation of various psychometric profiling tools such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI®), Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation-Behaviour Instrument (FIRO-B®), and Team Management Profile, and is a graduate of the NTL Organisation Development Certification Programme (UK).
