Jia Hao Chan
Manager (Curriculum)
Jia Hao is Manager (Curriculum) at the Chandler Academy of Governance (CAG). He is responsible for conducting curriculum research, design and development for the Academy’s training programmes and building collaborative partnerships with local and international public policy practitioners.
Before joining CAG, Jia Hao accumulated considerable experience in strategy and research positions within government agencies and academic institutions. During his tenure at the Ministry of Trade and Industry Singapore, Jia Hao played a pivotal role in shaping comprehensive strategies to advance Singapore’s economic interests amidst evolving geopolitical landscapes. At the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, Jia Hao distinguished himself as a researcher and case writer, overseeing the development of insightful case studies focusing on key international policy issues in Asia. He co-edited a collection of Singaporean case studies, with a foreword penned by Singapore’s Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong.
Jia Hao holds a Master of Science in International Political Economy from the S Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Nanyang Technological University and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Global Studies from the Department of Political Science, National University of Singapore.
