Ho Wei Jiang

Dean, Chandler Academy of Governance

Wei Jiang is Dean of the Chandler Academy of Governance (CAG), the training arm of the Institute. He is responsible for growing CAG as a robust and effective professional education institution for public servants and leaders through the design and delivery of high-quality, practical training programmes worldwide. He is also spearheading CAG’s expansion of online and technology-enabled learning to allow government officials globally to access training content at their convenience and learn at their own pace.

With two decades of experience spanning government, consulting and healthcare, Wei Jiang brings a strategic and cross-sector perspective to CAG. He previously served as Regional Director (Southeast Asia) at Elsevier, where he led a team providing digital solutions that supported research and education for academic and healthcare institutions in the region. His work in enabling data-driven decision-making and knowledge dissemination aligns closely with CAG’s mission to strengthen governance through research and training.

Before Elsevier, Wei Jiang worked at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants where he advised clients from both the private and public sectors on strategic planning, operational efficiency and growth strategies. He began his career in Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs where he helped to manage the country’s relations with key partners in South and Southeast Asia. He also coordinated with economic agencies to advance Singapore’s interests in international institutions such as APEC and the WTO.

A Public Service Commission Overseas Merit Scholar of the Singapore Government, Wei Jiang holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations & Economics from Stanford University and an MBA from INSEAD.
