Audrey Chan

Head, Curriculum
Audrey is Head, Curriculum, at the Chandler Academy of Governance (CAG). She is responsible for curriculum research, design and development, and building collaborative partnerships with public policy experts and practitioners both locally and internationally.  

Before joining CAG, Audrey held various roles in the Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) and accumulated considerable experience in policy formulation, curriculum development, professional training, and stakeholder management. She has researched and presented policy papers, as well as supported MOE senior management in policy development and implementation. She has also led several aspects of the review and development of Singapore’s national curriculum for various subjects, and developed and implemented a suite of professional learning offerings for capacity building. Audrey also helmed a team in charge of resource production for the launch of a nation-wide online learning platform. In this role, she collaborated with subject matter experts and partners to develop online learning resources, and conducted training to enable the effective use and adoption of content.

Outside of her time in the MOE Headquarters, Audrey has led a team of teachers in instructional programme design and delivery as a Subject Head in a secondary school. She has also coordinated the design and execution of overseas community service projects in partnership with local NGOs in various Southeast Asian countries including Myanmar and Cambodia.

Audrey graduated with a BA in English Language and Literature and an MA in English Literature and Culture from King’s College London, which she attended on an MOE Overseas Scholarship.
